I'm Prakash Katariya. I live in Bangalore. I am a former advertising creative director who has transitioned into writing screenplays. I have over 15 years of experience in creating and executing innovative campaigns for some of India's biggest brands. And this experience has tremendously helped and honed my storytelling and its various aspects.

As a new entrant in the long-format, I'm yet to build a credible body of work that's published. But having said that, I have already three completed screenplays under my name which I'm trying to take forward. As a screenwriter, I like to explore whatever affects me and appeals to me, and movies are medium through which I understand, express and grow. It's deeply personal to me and more than just a career option. This naturally makes me look beyond genres, and a rom-com and a horror story can both equally excite me. And I often bring in a fresh, even off-beat, perspective which lends my work a unique style.
