Sanket Deshpande FILMMAKER | PUNE

A science graduate (B.sc Physics along with photography and audiovisual production). After pursuing a diploma in journalism, I have worked as a Photojournalist for leading English Dailies like The Indian Express(Intern for a month) and Daily News and Analysis (DNA) (Staff photojournalist for a couple of Years). Later on, I worked as a part of the operations team for a Pune based ecotourism company Foliage Outdoors. I lead their Wildlife, Adventure tours across India and Himalayan Treks. I spent 5 months working in the Himalayas as a trek leader for a Bangalore based company Indiahikes. Completed 17 treks during this time for them.

While traveling, I used to shoot videos and try to edit with whatever basic knowledge I had. This developed a genuine interest in filming and editing videos, which lead to taking up a professional editing course. Now I am doing freelance videography or video editing assignments.

Travelling, Exploration, and Photography have always been my passion and looking forward to continuing working on the same.
