She has a passion for acting, modelling, singing and dancing. Being the daughter of a fighter pilot who was an Air Force veteran, Ankita has grown up over the years participating in theatre and drama, in lead roles, as well as in pageants and stage shows in different regions all over in her home country, India.
 
She was a dancer in one of the programs of India’s Well-known Bollywood choreographer, Shiamak Davar's Summer Funk group. She has participated in classical performances at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) in Mumbai.
 
Her love for films and television led her to the reel world. She loves the camera, and the camera loves her.
 
She has taken part in numerous beauty pageants, in India and in New Zealand and has won the Best ‘Catwalk’ title. She has been a runway model for many cultural fashion shows in New Zealand and is also a runway model for the London Pacific Fashion Week.
She has featured on Shortland Street, one of New Zealand’s famous TV soaps. She has also acted in TV documentaries and ads.
She is a great dancer and singer and appeared on Indian Radio in New Zealand as a guest singer on numerous occasions.
 
She is also a self-published author.
She brings with her a wealth of eastern and western experiences in Film and Television.
