I would like to start that this would not be your common bio. Me being a creative guy is gonna go personal and tell you my story in a few words.
My work and my qualifications are all attached in the link below. But they would not tell my story. So here it is.
Being a child I was always asked this question 'What do you want to become when you grow up' and I honestly had no answer. There was nothing I felt so passionate about. Or it was that I felt passionate about many things. I at one time wanted to win a gold medal at the Olympics for India (thanks to Neeraj Chopra) and at the other to become very rich by doing an MBA. I tried both and went a good distance, but at that critical time, I realised that this was not what I wanted from all my heart. So till now it has been a kind of hit and try for me. But there was a common thread that ran through all this time.
It was that I loved to think. I loved to think and write and get creative with things. I started writing movie reviews, one-liners, and all these things and then decided that ok, let's try Advertising and Public Relations at IIMC, New Delhi.
Since childhood, I have loved watching movies (watched my first movie when I was 5 months old and that being the multi-starrer Kaante). As I grew up I started watching Japanese Anime, movies of foreign origin and Regional Indian cinema and after watching each movie I was left with this feeling that how great it is to make a third person feel what you want them to. For now, that's the fire in me. I want to make people feel those emotions strongly through my work. Whether it be through witty one-liners or ad scripts or creating a PR campaign, I just want to tell a story that resonates with the people who see it.
Through the stories I make, I want to make a story of myself.
I still am not sure what is that 'one' thing for me. It could be a copywriter or a scriptwriter, a voiceover artist (people have told me that I have a great voice) or an actor, but it should make me feel that I am making that change I want to make.
