Oindra is a Indian Classical based Violinist from Kolkata. He learned violin from Sri Biswajit Roychowdhury who is the senior disciple of Pandit V. G. Jog. After that he learned western playing patterns & styles from Sri. Subhashis Dey. His main Inspiration & Guidance from his meastro Mama Sri Raghunath Nandy & also his Parents. Presently he is under the tutelage of Pandit Alok Lahiri.

From the very beginning Oindra, use 5string electro-acoustic classical violin. Last year he archived "Sliver Violin" memento for Best competitor in Violin from Chetla Murari Sangeet Sammilani and A "Gold Memento" from All India Music Conference.
In his musical journey, He has done several recordings for background music, film songs. Worked with many bands, stage performances, Commercial Shows, Classical concerts with various well known artists from Kolkata. He's also have a Classical Instrumental Group, named "GAANDHARVA".
