About me

Before I went to college, I've been a part of several shows at the Hyderabad Theatre Festival, and at Ravindra Bharati with a theatre group called 'Ingenium Dramatics'. I’ve trained at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, one of the top acting schools in the world, and graduated with a BFA in Acting. At NYU, I was trained in several disciplines of acting including Commedia Dell'Arte, Stanislavski, Meisner, as well as Acting for the Screen. Several of my productions have earned positive recognition both in Film and in Theatre. My short films 'Sherry' and 'Radha' have earned several accolades at Film Festivals across the USA and around the World. My Theatre productions of 'A Muslim in the Midst' was nominated for best play at the Thespis Theater Festival in NYC, and my most recent work in 'A View from the Bridge' was featured in the New York Times.

"A View from the Bridge"

This 1950's story tells of Eddie Carbone, a longshoreman who lives and works in Red Hook with his wife Beatrice and her 18 year-old orphaned niece, Catherine. When Beatrice's undocumented relatives arrive from Ital to work the docks, conflict grows between Eddie and cousin Rodolpho. The Waterfront Barge allows the story of Eddie Carbone told in A View from the Bridge to unfold directness and simplicity, allowing for greater intimacy and detail.
