Prasad Vinayak Borkar WRITER | MUMBAI

Prasad Borkar is a trained screenwriter who graduated from Film and Television Institute of India {FTII}, Pune. He has worked as an in-house writer for a production house {Eros International} and also has collabarated in writers' rooms set-up for developing web content. In terms of writers' rooms, he has worked on an indie stoner comedy web series {Co-writing the season arc and scripts for 8 episodes} and Co-developed a web series bible of an espionage thriller for Kailasa Films. He has also worked as an assistant writer on a fantasy comedy sitcom for Applause Entertainment. Prasad is also interested in stand up comedy and improv comedy on a hobby level. He has performed stand up at open mics and studied improv under comedian Neville Bharucha.
'No Woman's Child', a short film Prasad worked on as the director's assistant, was recently screened at 'Lift-off Global First-Time Filmmaker Sessions 2023'. Prasad is currently working on an animated short film written by him, called 'The Doughball'.
