Since childhood, I have been interested in performing arts.
So my parents asked me to attend acting work shop in summer
vacation at the age of 12. I learned to perform and to create.
Then I started participating in various performing arts
competitions - Dancing, Singing, Plays and Mono-act.
Then I got an offer to work in music video produced by Krunal
Music, “Aali Majhya Ghari hi Diwali”, where I learned how to
work with camera.
Then I have been working in musical band almost for five years.
I kept myself indulge with creative writing and participating
in performing arts competitions.
Still I wanted to look at myself as creator I started writing
stories. At that time I was unaware of writing scripts or
screenplays. But with the time I got a chance to work with
my fellow friend who had the same interest. “KAASH” was the
first short film I wrote, directed and acted in. We, team of
two, won first prize in Antardrishti Short film competition,
Delhi on national basis, in the year of 2014, since then I
started looking towards myself as a Director. I started
writing scripts and kept producing them.
We created a Youtube channel, Soul Entertainers, in 2014.
For the second time we won first prize for the short film
“SOULMATE”, written and directed by me.
During this time of making short films, I learned to lead a
project, How to work on script and surely how to complete a
project with a tight budget. I experienced people and my
caliber of giving inputs and the capability of improvising
my creativity.
Creating something new is what I like the most. For me Film
is an expression of a creator who just provides it proper
direction to reach out to the world. I have already started
my journey as a creator and want to explore much more ahead
in this world of film making.
