Shubhashish Bhattacharjee born and brought up in Guwahati. He started learning hindustani classical vocal at the age of 11 from Sutapa Ray while residing in Nagaland and in Guwahati initially by Manisha Chakrabarty in the year 2006. From 2007 the systematic procedure of taalim was introduced to him by Ms. Mita Sen. Has completed his Visharad and Nipun degree from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow. He has recieved the "Classical Voice of Assam" from Sangeet Milon's Classical Voice of India. He is currently under the tutelage of Pt. Ajoy Chakrabarty and Abhijeet Mukherjee(disciple of Pt. Ajoy Chakrabarty). |
