Basically from Guwahati, Assam. Music career started when he was 8 years old. Started performing in local BIHU functions and cultural events in the early days of his career. Earned good name in the city and in the meantime he decided to move to Delhi when he was 22 years of age. Had a long time of struggle in Delhi and started having bad financial conditions. Started performing in Cafes for free of cost, food was the only thing he used to earn. He started earning good paid shows and now used to perform in different cafes with his band.
